LAW OF ATTRACTION

The Law of Attraction (LOA) is very new to me but somehow fits into how my life has shaped itself over the last 3 years.  I have also begun to apply this to some of my clients and work in a different way and they have noticed change in their lives too.  Of course, life will not always 'seem' like it is going in a positive way, neither does it always stay on the paths we have chosen, in the direction we thought we planned, but to consider that 'everything happens for a reason and is often sent to test us' and apply the law of attraction to this notion we can attract good, positive things from this and realise that life is in fact a journey and not a destination.

The definition I learned is as follows...

LOA - I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy, and focus to; whether negative or positive.

Think about it...I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy, and focus to; whether negative or positive.

It's about vibes. You know what a vibe is; it's a mood or a feeling you have. For example, you can tell when someone is giving off positive vibes when you meet them for the first time.  Vibes are all about the feeling you have in your gut; like a gut feeling.

Simply, a vibe is an emotion; and every emotion is either positive or negative. Below I have listed some examples of vibes.The list goes on for each category. So when you are focusing your attention on something (or someone) what kind of vibe are you sending? When you think about money does it upset you? If so, you are sending off negative vibes and you continue to attract a lack of money. If you are thinking that today is going to be a difficult day at work and you are worried about what is going to happen; then you are going to attract a tough day. However, if you change your thoughts you can change your vibes. If you take out your negative thoughts and turn it into something positive, you will have different results.

Give it a try. What could happen?

I had the poem below pinned up throughout my training as a Counsellor. There were some tough times, with working, running a home, caring for a 4 year old and a new baby at the time but I did it.  It’s only now, 6 years on, a divorce under my belt, and generally life not as I planned that I realise how true it is and just how easy it would have been to continue in the same direction, making the same mistakes rather than be positive about these changes no matter how difficult.

If you think you're beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost for sure, you won't.
If you think you're losing, you've lost.
For out in the world we find –
Success begins with a person's will,
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you're outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise.
You have to stay with it,
In order to win the prize.
Life's battles don't always go,
To the one with the better plan.
For more often than not, you will win,
If only you think you can.

The only thing keeping you from attaining what you want in life is YOU! You hold the key to your future!
