CORPORATE COUNSELLING

Responsible employers recognise that people are the most important asset of a business and the way that they function can often make the difference between success or failure. Professional counselling is increasingly being used to support and sustain an effective and motivated workforce.

Counselling supports employees’ mental health and emotional well-being with a resulting increase in personal awareness and self-efficacy.

An integrated counselling programme will help:

  • Improve workforce morale
  • Improve staff retention
  • Increase staff motivation and productivity
  • Develop a flexible and empowered workforce
  • Develop new skills and coping strategies to deal with issues.

We provide counselling on a one-to-one basis for issues such as:

  • General personal issues
  • Depression
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Anger
  • Bereavement
  • Redundancy
  • Alcohol or Drug concerns
  • Relationship concerns
  • Domestic violence

Counselling takes place on a weekly basis over an agreed period of time. Sessions usually take place on the same day, and at the same time, each week.

For multiple referrals, a counsellor can work from your own premises. In this instance, an appropriate room will need to be provided.

More and more clients are asking us to provide a group or to work in the workplace with a tailored programme where employees can meet with others, perhaps as a team, improve communications and share concerns and adopt new strategies for tackling their issues.
